House of new beginning rules and regulations

Rules

  1.  1. Must pass drug test upon arrival   
  2. No use of alcohol, mind or mood altering drugs. Use of these will result in immediate discharge. 
  3.  Residents must attend 90 meetings in 90 days and 5 meetings a week after 3 months.  
  4. All residents must have a minimum of 32 hours of work/community service each week. 
  5.  All prescriptions must be approved by director. 
  6.  Residents must get a sponsor and home group within the first 30 days of arriving.  
  7. No violence or threats of violence 
  8. Curfew: Sunday through Thursday 10pm and Friday and Saturday 11pm 
  9. Rent is $125 per week. Residents must keep balance below $300 or they will be placed back on orientation. 
  10. No gambling whatsoever. 

Regulations-

 

Prohibited Pending Case or Convictions List : The following pending crimes or convictions prevent a person from gaining acceptance into  the House of New Beginnings. Out of state crimes with similar characteristics to those  contained below are also disqualified. 


  • Carjacking 
  • Child Molesting 
  • Child Pornography  
  • Criminal Confinement/ Level 4 or above 
  • Criminal Deviate Conduct 
  • Incest 
  • Kidnapping/ Level 4 or above 
  • Murder 
  • Rape 
  • Robbery 
  • Voluntary Manslaughter 


 10 Year Prohibited Pending Case or Convictions List : The following pending crimes or convictions will prevent a person from gaining acceptance  into the House of New Beginnings until at least Ten years have elapsed since the person has  completed probation or served out their sentence, whichever is later. Out of state crimes  with similar characteristics to those contained below are also included on this list.  


  • Aggravated Battery 
  • Assisting a Criminal-C Felony/Level 5 or Above 
  • Battery – Felony 
  • Burglary – A or B Felony/Level 4 or Above  
  • Criminal Confinement/ Level 5 
  • Criminal Gang Intimidation/Activity 
  • Dissemination of Matter Harmful to Minors 
  • Escape-B or C Felony/Level 5 or Above 
  • Involuntary Manslaughter 
  • Kidnapping/ Level 5 
  • Reckless Homicide 
  • Strangulation 
  •  Intimidation / Level 5 


 

10 Year Prohibited or Pending Case Convictions List, Requiring Board Approval : The following pending crimes or convictions will prevent a person from gaining acceptance  into the House of New Beginnings until at least Ten years have elapsed since the person has  completed probation or served out their sentence, whichever is later, and the Board of  Directors has reviewed the case and approved of acceptance. Out of state crimes with similar  characteristics to those contained below are also included on this list.  


  • Arson 
  • Human Trafficking 
  • Indecent Exposure 
  • Sexual Battery 
  • Sexual Misconduct with A Minor 
  • Stalking
